RTV Preview

RTV’s preview is out.The island looks fantastic and enjoyable for all ages.The games look challenging enough for everyone.This doesn’t have anything to do with the island but I like the transitions in the video .The places in the island look great too.The motel looks good and TV World looks like a TV store you might find in New York.I think Mike’s Market might be where Ned Noodlehead was going to buy the donuts.But where’s the hippie guy?Did they think that he wasn’t cool enough?I thought he was awesome…This will probably be one of my favorite islands.It’s design is wonderful,the characters look great,the games look fun,and I have a feeling this will be one of the greatest islands.

One of the games on RTV is similar to a level on the Funbrain game called Mighty Guy 2 where things fall at you and you have to dodge them while running up the hill.The only difference is that this one has people trying to do the same thing and win before you.

Memberships… *Frowns*

Poptropica Creators’ Blog Update 12/30/09

Hello again Poptropicans,

So, today, the Creators have given us yet another update after this extended 1 week absence. This time, it’s about the island we all have been begging for: Reality TV! Dr. Hare did promise updates on the island, so apparently it hasn’t been abandoned after all. Besides, it was decided by a poll, so we’d feel kind of ripped off that our choice of an island never happened. Anyway, this post is titled “Back to Reality”.

Well after much vacationing, I have again returned to Reality TV Island. I heard the local grocery store had some good donuts, I just don’t know which kind to get.

So, some randomness regarding TV this time around. Also, if you haven’t noticed, this is the first Reality TV post not involving either reality show contestants or TVs. We’re going through right now the same randomness as when we first heard of Counterfeit a month ago right now, so maybe we’ll even be able to play Reality TV Island before March. I’m hopeful, although my expectations are a bit lowered for this island after seeing how great Counterfeit Island is.

Also, there’s a poll on what your favorite game on Poptropica is, so be sure to vote in that.

There is this new item called Meteor Shower.

To me,this reminds me of 2012.

It makes an asteroid fall on your head I think.

I haven’t tried it yet because I’m saving my credits but I’m sure I’m right.

It looks awesome though.

 

Counterfeit Island in Early Access Release!

Yes, the time is here, kinda. Poptropica’s newest island, Counterfeit Island, has been put out on limited release. You can access this island before anyone else for 500 Poptropica credits! Plus, if you beat the island before January 4th, the public release date, you get 200 of those Poptropica credits back, rather than the usual 100! I’ve used up all 5 of my account’s credits on stuff, and even Fierce Sky’s broke, so if you have any screenshots or information on the island, we’ll gladly post your pictures or walkthroughs for others.

 

Leaving
